I found this hilarious comment on English restauraunt food in a cute book called “Lern Yerseslf Scouse”by Frank Shaw.

Happy Friday yeah boy I was waiting the whole day for my Dad to come home so we could play footies… I have been practicing at school with my mate Charlie who is also a big red!!! Fernando Torres, who has also been nominated as the coolest footballer on the planet, features in a Nike ad that is probably the coolest advertisement in the world! The advertisement features Liverpudlians “going Spanish”!
You see them speaking Spanish in a Scouse accent, eating Spanish food, pubs and restuarant being painted in Spanish colours, Liverpool ladies learning Flamenco. Anyone who has ever been to Liverpool will love this as the viewing figures show.
