The Coolest Kid On The Planet

I just had the pleasure of talking  with Jordy on Skype. We both had the web cam feature turned on so I could see him pulling faces and sticking his tongue out at me. The best part was when he started blowing kisses at me and said “Love you granddad.”

Having modern technology like this makes life a bit more bearable for me as Jordy was a big part of my life since the day he was born. To have him live so far away is difficult to bear sometimes and these little chats we have are great.

He was telling about kicking the football high, talking about Pepe Reina and Dirk Keit and even sang Ba Ba Black Sheep for me.

It was a great little “virtual” visit!

I was very lucky for my 2nd birthday – my Granny and Granddad came to visit us here in England. I also got lots of lovely presents and was sooo happy and excited!

This was in our house in Johannesburg South Africa. My mom took the photo of us. He was my best friend! His name was Gerrard.

My other granddad Craig gave Gerrard to me. Granddad Craig is a vet and he loves animals, especially horses. He owns many horse. Maybe one day I’ll learn to ride a horse and the I can get my own horse. He will of course be the coolest horse on the planet!
